Thats a lot of pipeline your talking about there.

 

Not saying the internet cant support 4k, but why not something a little less?

 

Most people are using RTMP with HTML 5, as its more mobile friendly than flash on phones. And while rtmp has come a long way, HTML5 is universal across all browsers. FLASH still has issues, as JWplayer with HTML 5 fallback isnt installed on every site.
