Long Time, No Talk!

Recommended Posts

Considering, I haven't been on here in some time, I wanted to let everyone what's been going on. I've actually been busy as of late. Dealing, and running my own mobile dj business for the last 4 years. It's been going great, in that line of work. I know internet radio is pretty much dying out, but I'll never forget where I came from. I just recently got hired on, part time, at a radio broadcasting group. I won't disclose the name, but it's took me several years, to

get where I wanted to be at. The station I now work at, runs 6 different radio stations. And the fact I got hired, is mind blowing. That being said, I feel like I'm moving up. I got the ability, and talent to go places. I've literally worked from the bottom, and moved up. So I wanted to touch base. It's been a while since I've been here, but my life is going so great!

Congrats James and thumbs up to You

Great to hear your story

At the time I ever started my first steps into broadcasting (1978) I was only 18 years of age

From that hobby I made my part-time upto full time job and became also an independent

I was able to do "my thing" several times abroad

Into the world of broadcasting I was lucky to meet a lot of huge and famous artists

I very often tell to other people who are not familiar with my background and / or the music scene etc ... "I did it, let them do the same things I did and check if they achieve their goal, I did !"

It was never my dream, even not my goal to do it, it happend to Me

These days its not anymore my daily full time job, its my hobby these days, and I like it

Important is that most of my past contacts that I ever made into the music scene stayed in touch through the years, and that makes Me happy

So keep enjoying the world of music and radio !

It's mind blowing for me. I started getting into internet radio back in 2009, and in 2013 I got out of it. I knew it would be dying out anyway. That's when I got into mobile djing. And I just got hired on at an FM radio station, again its all the work I've put in over time to get where I'm at now!
