Revitalisation and keeping BW alive

Hope you've all been well! Looks like a lot of you are sticking around, that's fantastic! Thank you!

 

I've ben quite busy with university, work and other projects keeping me busy. So I haven't been as active as I had hoped on here. We still get 25-50 stations added to the directory each week, always gaining new members and advertisers, so we know we are still valuable! Plus the income from advertising has *just* been able to keep us afloat.

 

I have started making some draft plans for BW this year. I'm due to finish university next month, after that i'll be working on BW and another project of mine a bit more! I have done some experimentation with a new layout on the homepage (just experimenting, so don't get too excited!). I coded the old layout 3-4 years ago, so looking back on the code, I know I can do better now!

 

If you have any suggestions for sections, features, content you'd like to see or anything else, please let me know.

 

Glad to see you all, and hope to work with you all to get BW back to it's glory this year.

Thanks GK! Will be working on the new BW this year along with two other projects. Hoping to get the new BW open ASAP for you to all enjoy.

 

Seeing the decline of most online radio communities and radio news sites, we are hoping to fill that void and revitalise the internet radio community. I certainly have more time to spend on the site nowadays, so hoping to generate some more traffic, interest and new users.

 

When we are close to launching the new BW, we will upgrade the forums and be sure to spread the word

Hi guys,

 

Weekly update time! I have completed my studies and have begun the redevelopment of BW from scratch! I'll be keeping you all updated of any future progress from here on.

 

1. I'm designing the new site from scratch. Will be very minimalistic to ensure the focus is on the content. No more ad in the header!

2. The site will be much, much faster. Trust me.

3. Mobile responsive design, so you can use BW from any device!

4. Reviews section will be overhauled. More product options and an easier interface to find the product you want.

5. The forum will be upgraded with better sections and a new look.
