Problem with Zararadio

Hello all. I'm new here - been a programmer on my local community station for 12 years and been using Zara for most of that time. Today I had a problem with loading the program, so I uninstalled it and downloaded a fresh copy. The new edition loads and runs, but I cannot drag and drop files from my music library anymore. It loads from the internal tree just fine, but that's just way too slow. Has any anyone had this problem and fixed it? Is there another (hopefully better) free program to replace it. I've done a google search on this with no results; hoping someone here can help.
