GKIye
In fact You don't need a MySql password During the setup you can choose between several databases. Select MySql and select the default install Most important for future setups of SAM ... Delete every part of the software from your pc (Revo Uninstaller is a great tool to do this) ... Reboot your pc and make a default install of SAM ... In general the software gonna startup after the install at the moment you choose "run SAM" Visit and listen @ BW ! shoutcaststreaming
In fact You don't need a MySql password That is about the dangerous thing that you can do. Google PHP injection and see how they get into your PC with no mySQL password. If you are receiving a password or username error you can see what you set up by goiing to the SAM.CORE.XML and the username/password for sam and mysql are in that file in plain text. shoutcaststreaming
Try removing mySQL entirely from your PC. Then try re-installing. It should not ask you for the current password. shoutcaststreaming
That's impossible. Post a screen shot. Are you positive you used the Control Panel and completely removed it?
