I signed up for a RadioBoss Cloud evaluation account and so far I'm very impressed.

The service is cloud-based so there's no need to tie up your computer or Internet connection. (You can select a server in Europe or North America.) RadioBoss Cloud offers powerful features like live streaming + AutoDJ, relaying, playlist scheduling, crossfading, track repeat protection, auto sound leveling, etc.

The Web interface is easy to use and can be accessed with any Web browser. The brown-on-beige interface is a little dull but they've promised to add more themes in the future. (A dark theme would be especially welcome.) It's easy to upload your music files with the Web-based file manager but there's no Dropbox integration (yet).

I've only been using the service for a couple of weeks but it seems highly reliable, with no outages so far. I especially like how RadioBoss Cloud supports any bitrate of MP3 or AAC file as well as FLAC.

However, I think that many potential customers (like me) are going to confuse the "RadioBoss Cloud" service with the "RadioBoss" for Windows software. Perhaps they should change the name ("RadioCloud"?) :)

I can see the appeal of having complete control over every aspect of your Internet radio station (e.g., playout software, computer and Internet connection). But for guys like me who just want to get their Internet radio station up and running with a minimum of fuss RadioBoss Cloud seems like an excellent solution.

Thank you for such a detailed and good review! Yes, we'll add more themes in the future, once all planned features are added - in late July probably. We'll keep the "RadioBOSS Cloud" name, but perhaps you're right about some people being confused, we've even had some customer support requests about it :)
