advertising the station

hi all i have completely removed sam broadcaster, and i am now using virtual dj

i have been advertising the station around social media but with no listener effect meaning

hardly no one tunes in and i do a 70s show on a weekend.....

 

any help would be appreciated many thanks

The Internet is a crowded place when it comes to radio stations now. You're trying to compete with the big boys and the big boys will win everytime.

 

Oh and It might help if you didn't keep changing your station name every few months.

 

Best advice I can give you... is find another hobby this one seems to be making you unhappy... (Just saying)

 

P.S: it doesn't matter to us what software you use, Just as long as you're using legitimately bought software... Software piracy is FROWNED on.

Best option for you would be find a station that has a lot of listeners already that is looking for a 2 3 or 4 hr program with the same music that you play and join this station.

I don't think the software matters that much, it all comes down to the programming. What makes you better than the other 70s shows? What's your hook to bring listeners back? You've picked one of the more crowded genres in Net broadcasting so how are you setting yourself apart?
