Guest jdevain
Hi. I'm in the US and am considering starting an internet radio station. This is kind of an oddball question, but I was wondering if there were any legal issues about altering an artists song in some way. I know most normal radio stations use their own dynamic compression on all songs in order to make the music seem louder, even though it "squishes" the sound and almost always sounds worse. But what if the song was altered in some other obvious way, like if it was played backwards, slowed down, sped up, had effects added to it, etc. Is anyone aware of any legal issues around that? Thanks!
GKIye
Playing the music backwards could be a solution ... If you should do that You would have a real unique online project. However I don't have a clue about the other ways of doing it ... Visit and listen @ BW !
