Hello All!

I'm pleased to announce that I have now taken over BroadcastingWorld and will be continuing to revamp it and get it back running the way we used to have it and love!

As of now, I believe all broken items are resolved and the site is running as expected once again!

I hope to see that since the site is back up once again, we will see our community grow again!

What do y'all think? What do you want to see done?

Well ... there is still a BW group at facebook since 2009 with 4k+ followers ...  https://www.facebook.com/broadcastingworld

An important source to get back connected with some members.

I did make a post there, going to continue to make some posts to hopefully reach others. The latest post results were very lackluster, reaching less than 100 people.

Its my point of view that even reaching 100 people can be seen these days as "willing to participate".

Whatever Zuckerberg is telling Us about their Billions of users ... I don't believe him. If they have Worldwide a daily group of users of about 100.000 I suppose thats already a lot.

Everyone who has a FB account can agree with that point of view. Check yourself your amount of "friends" and check your newsfeed how often they are making posts. Not that many !

Check "the story" feed were people can upload a 24 hours story. Not that many people are using it, except every day the same people with "their story" of the day. Same thing to the "followers" of the published stories ... The list of people are daily similar ... but important they are watching, but they do not participate with what they are seeing.

Check your "memories", some years ago people were liking almost everything, these days "if" they give a "like" thats about the most important thing they have done.

Common people / users, but also famous people do have the same perception to it ... If You see that certain posts of famous names, artists, etc have 1k to 10.000 likes that looks a lot, until You notice that they have 500.000, even a Million followers. Percentage of interaction can therefore be called moderate.

Fact is that both on facebook, but sometimes also into real life, people became "viewers" who are lesser and lesser in need to collab / participate. They are watching the game from a distance with lesser and lesser interest to the content of the message.

I agree, all of this can sound negative ... but Our society as human being needs a kind of reboot. Sometimes it looks to Me that many people became brain dead since social media appeared into Our daily life.

However the basics of Marketing learn Us that repetition of a message results in success.
