New to Internet Radio- question

Hi folks:

I am new to internet radio. I am really enjoying listening to programs across the globe. I particularly like talk shows on odd topics.

I thought I would ask the following: What types off programming exist on internet radio that are not obvious? For example, I recently discovered one can listen to certain police scanners and  channels that simply have a recorded thunderstorm to aid in sleeping. 

I am wondering what other types there may be out there that are not what one ordinarily thinks of?
