dj.plazma
I recently purchased a Behringer B1 microphone for my studio. So far I'm quite impressed from everything down to the form factor. Great sound and quite sturdy. I love the accompanying wind screen because I can take the boom-mounted one away for a lighter boom and ease of maneuverability. Up until now I've used an MXL-990, but the biggest drawback to the 990 is the terrible shock mount they built the thing with. The Behringer B1 shock mount is similar but appears to be much better executed. Anyone else have any experience with both mics that they'd care to share? James
I have this microphone, actually 2 of them. Brilliant sound and they are a tough sturdy mic. I use my RODE PSA-1 mic stand and it holds it well. The shock mount is sturdy but a bit heavy.
